Dr. Marshall Hirshman is one of five board certified ophthalmologists providing superior patient eye-care at The Midwest Center for Sight. Dr. Hirshman is one of the founders of the practice and is still practicing after 35 years.
Dr. Hirshman received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School as well as his Bachelor of Science degree. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Hirshman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. For 22 years, Dr. Hirshman served as the Division Chief of Ophthalmology at Lutheran General Hospital. He retired from that post in 2002.
Dr. Hirshman provides routine eye exams, preventive eye-care health, Latisse, and treats all medical eye conditions. “I have practiced ophthalmology for over 35 years and have been joined by partners with increased training, as well as expertise in the latest technology and state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. I believe in comprehensive eye care, blending medical and surgical diagnosis and treatment. My philosophy is that the patient should participate in their care and decision making.
