Dr. Richard Katz is one of five board certified ophthalmologists providing superior patient eye-care at The Midwest Center for Sight. Dr. Katz is a well-established general ophthalmologist practicing in the northwest suburbs for over 30 years.
Dr. Katz received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and his bachelors from Northwestern University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Dr. Katz is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the Chicago Ophthalmologic Society as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Katz provides routine eye exams, preventive eye-care health, and treats all medical eye conditions.
Dr. Katz has a passion for traveling, he has been to all seven continents and well over one hundred countries. He is an accomplished photographer, documenting his many trips around the world.
